Overweight: the misconceptions about being overweight
The world is gaining weight like all scientific studies show for many years. The American and European continents are most overwhelmed by the excess weight caused by the obesity epidemic, but the world is not spared / ore.

Excess weight is always a harbinger of disaster for the health? All overweight are they dramatic? Too few kilograms are they still a nightmare?
A body mass index (BMI) means that you absolutely need to lose weight
This is actually a misconception. BMI is a good starting point to determine your state of form because it takes into account both your height and your weight. But this index is not perfect, far from it.
BMI is a simple index that does not take into account the physical shape or bone structure. BMI does not differentiate the weight taken after 6 months of bodybuilding and weight taken after 6 months of daily consumption of meals at fast food.
So if you’ve taken a lot of muscle, for example by making a lot of weight over a period long enough, you might have a BMI in the “obese”. Did you know for example that Arnold Schwarzenegger had a BMI of 33 (or a BMI of obese person) in full glory of his career as bodybuilder?
That is one reason why so many experts measure the BMI of their patients during a consultation, but are very careful in handling this index. If you have a large muscle mass and a high BMI, you do not need to lose weight quite as long.
